Lighthouse Apartments Enniscrone

The Enniscrone Black Pig Festival takes place in Enniscrone, one of Sligo's most popular and scenic towns, with a wide variety of activities for all ages. The festival will commence with a momentous parade through the town, followed by the black pig warriors, the evening will include street entertainment.

Each evening there will be a magic show and an exciting fun fair for all to enjoy. Live music events will be on during the festival, many of which will be on the street. Other activities include soap box race, it's a knockout, and traditional market day.

Thursday 4th August

Opening Night of the Festival : Events Include

• 8.00pm :  Roasting of the Pig & Live Music
• 10.00pm : Smash Hits playing @ Funktion Nightclub
• Funfair available all evening @ The Hollow
• Art & Photography Exhibition @ The Diamond Coast Hotel all day.

Friday 5th August

• 5.00pm :  Children's Magic Show
• 5.30pm :  Heritage Walk of Enniscrone
• 7.30pm :  Soap Box Derby Race -  PRIZES TO BE WON!!
• 9.00pm :  Prize Giving Ceremony of Soap Boz Derby Race & Traditional Music Session @ Gilroy's Pub
• 9.00pm :  Comedy Night with Conal Gallen @ Ocean Sands Hotel ( Tickets can be bought from The Ocean Sands - 096 26700)
• Funfair available all evening @ The Hollow

Saturday 6th August

• 9.30am - 3.30pm : Seashore Beach Fishing Competitions @ Enniscrone Beach
• ( Rods & Reels supplied, Prizes to be won , €25 entry fee )
• 11.00am : Children's Magic Show
• Surfs Up Saturday : Check out surfers, kite boarders & kite surfers display @ Enniscrone Beach
• 3.00pm-5.00pm : Fancy Dress Treasure Hunt ( Groups of 4, Prizes to be won, Entry Fee of €5.)
• NOTE: Under 12's MUST be supervised by an adult.
• 9.30pm : Beat on the Street - Live Music Entertainment from Revenge & The Young Cardinals
• 12.00pm : Rocketpyro Fireworks Display
• Funktion Nightclub with Resident DJ

• 10am-6pm - Vintage & Agricultural Market Day all day at The Hollow

• 7.30pm - 10k Fun Run/Walk - Walk/ Run / Fancy Dress the 1st ever 10k fun run in Enniscrone. Raise money for a charity of your choice, do it for the craic or for your own self - acheivement.
